Purpose of Coaching
Life coaching is a professional relationship designed to support personal growth, self-discovery, and goal achievement. Coaching is a collaborative process focused on the present and future. It helps clients gain clarity, identify limiting beliefs, and take empowered action toward their desired outcomes. However, life coaching is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment and should not be used as a substitute for qualified mental health or medical care.
No Medical or Psychological Advice
Life coaches are not licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, or medical professionals. The coaching process does not diagnose, treat, or cure any physical or mental health condition. If you are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, or any psychological or medical concern, you are encouraged to seek professional assistance from a qualified healthcare provider.
Client Responsibility
The client understands that they are fully responsible for their own physical, mental, and emotional well-being during coaching sessions, including their decisions, choices, and actions. Coaching results depend on the client’s personal commitment, openness, and willingness to take action. The coach makes no guarantees about the outcomes of the coaching process.
Confidentiality
All information shared during coaching sessions is treated as strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without the client’s written consent, except as required by law (for example, if there is a risk of harm to self or others, or in compliance with a legal obligation).
No Guarantees of Results
While life coaching aims to promote positive change, success depends on the client’s active participation and effort. The coach does not guarantee any specific results, financial outcomes, or personal achievements. Coaching outcomes vary based on individual circumstances and commitment levels.
Professional Boundaries
Coaching sessions are conducted in a professional context. The relationship between coach and client is one of mutual respect and trust, but it does not constitute a therapeutic, financial, legal, or medical relationship.
Indemnity
By engaging in coaching services, the client agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the coach and their business from any claims, liabilities, or damages that may arise from participation in the coaching process.
